Chef Creole was a pleasant surprise! I was honestly shocked that this is such an affordable option for real food inside the airport! Prices were very reasonable for piping hot, unprocessed, well-seasoned meats and seafood. The menu is sizable considering the location - chicken, oxtail, fish and shrimp, wings, even conch!
The location is small but the space is laid out well. And folks are not afraid to pack in there for this good food. There is a small amount of seating but most of the customers were taking food to go so seating was available.
I didn't have a big appetite and actually went in, looking for soup - none on the menu. So I got a side of rice and peas with chicken sauce on top. The rice was cooked to perfection, loose not t all gummy, seasoned perfectly and very moist. The sauce took it up a notch but the pikliz knocked it out of the water! The pikliz was delicious - tangy, crunchy! I don't tolerate spice well; for me, it gave a light tingle to the mouth. But that was it, not too spicy.
Chef Creole is doing airport cuisine right! Glad it was located directly across from my airline's check-in on Concourse E, otherwise I would not have known about it. Will keep them in mind should I find myself this way again. And definitely have one of their other locations on the list for when I make it back home.
My flight departed out of the E Gates so I stopped by "The Chef Creole" for some food before my flight. The service is very friendly and the employees went above and beyond to assist me.
I ordered the rice with beans with grilled chicken and plantains, the food was excellent, every bite had lots of flavor and delicious taste. The chicken was tender and savory and the rice was fantastic.
So happy to find this Haitian restaurant with great flavors at the Miami airport.
I also tried the fish Haitian pattie. I like the taste and soft crust. Not spicy.
Love to come back to continue trying their exceptional cuisine!
I didn't know airport food could be so delicious. Tried the rice, grilled jerk chicken and sweet plantains box. Amazing!
Food has great flavor. I ordered pork ribs with rice and plantain with a bottle of water. They do give plenty of food, and it’s only $21 which is very reasonable for airport I think.
Chef Creole got it goin on… glad we got to taste the magic!
Highly recommended
Will swing on by like all the airline workers/ flight attendants!!
Don’t forget the side of pikliz 💬💬💬✅✅✅✅✅🌸♥️🌸♥️🙏🙏
Now, I know I can be critical especially when it comes to food. I do however like to give credit where it is due.
The staff here UBER friendly...super friendly that I will not deny. They all are super stars in my eyes.
Now to the brasstacks. I was sorely disappointed as any red blooded Caribbean person would be at the portions at this place. 😪 A MOUNTIAN of rice and literally 3 pieces (small pieces) of oxtail?? The taste was ok for stewed oxtail. I wasnt blown away but it was enjoyable but I feel ROBBED.
The conch fritters were more flour and veg than conch. I made it a point to tear these fritters open and look for the conch. NO MORE THAN 3 FRAGMENTS OF CONCH!?! Naw. I was gonna get something to go for my flight, but Id rather suffer through Americans dusty ole business class meal than to pay for another robbery.
I hope the owner reads this. You gotta ckme better boss. This aint good enough.
Pics included.
Great flavor but I paid $44 dollar for conch and d shrimp and conch was over cook. Cook heard the timer and decided to fry it more conch is a delicate donot need to be fried hard. This is the pieces I couldn’t eat
This place is IT! They have several locations around Miami that are amazing, but I constantly visit the Chef Creole in MIA and it’s OFF THE CHAIN! The customer service is great and the food is even better. The manager, Anola is very kind and beyond helpful. She allowed me to sample many things and I loved them all! I always get the fried shrimp and griot and I am always left wanting more. If you are flying in/out of MIA, you MUST try this place- you will NOT be disappointed. I appreciate you Chef Creole!!!
